Main activities:

• Developing a procurement strategy and the development and implementation of innovative retail concepts.

Our client is a leading electrical manufacturing company with its European HQ based in Berne. They require a Senior Auditor to join them to ensure audit and compliance in regulation with SOX, GAAP/IFRS and company internal guidelines. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for planning, conducting and reporting on 8 Audits per year at plants across Europe, as well as managing an Auditor as well as working closely with the accounting team in this matrix set up. The Senior Auditor will be reporting to the Global Head of Audit as well as a dotted line report to the European Financial Controller who heads the Finance in Europe. The Senior Auditor should be willing to travel both within the continent and for one Audit per year, intercontinentally. The Senior Auditor will also be responsible for co-ordinating with External Audit partners and ensuring clarity of information. The candidate will be expected to travel around 40% of the time, with the majority of travel being in the Winter. This role suits an Auditor who wants management experience as well as taking a key part in the Audit function of a large organisation.

Our client, a leading European manufacturing company with their headquarter in St Gallen. Due to expansion, they require an Internal Audit Manager to join them to ensure full compliance with company rules and international accounting regulations. Also, as well as check list Auditing, there will also be some element of risk based operational auditing and process improvement within the role. The internal Audit Manager will report directly to the Head of Finance and will require a strong personality who is not afraid to voice opinion. The ideal candidate will have experience of either Internal Audit or External Audit within an industrial or manufacturing environment. The Internal Audit Manager will be a key member of the finance department and will be responsible for regulatory compliance for the company. Ideally, the Internal Audit Manager will have some experience within a large public accounting firm and may have CIA,CPA or similar Auditor Qualifications. Fluent English is desired, as is at least one other European language.
